National Chemistry Week Celebration at Kahala Mall - Oct. 17

Everyone is invited to the National Chemistry Week (NCW) celebration at Kahala Mall on
Saturday 17 Oct. 2015
from
10:00 am
to
2:30 pm
. Tables with demonstrations and hands-on activities manned by students, educators and community representatives will be set up between Longs and Macy's.
Come and have fun learning some chemistry as well as the importance of chemistry in society. Prizes and hundreds of NCW gifts will be distributed.
There will be a gallery of winning entries into the NCW Illustrated Poem Contest (K-12) supporting the 2015 theme, "Chemistry Colors Our World!", focusing on the chemistry of food colors, fireworks, rainbows, natural dyes and pigments, and more.
NCW at Kahala Mall is co-sponsored by HaSTA's Chemistry Section and the Hawaii Section of the American Chemical Society.
