We hope your summer is relaxing and rejuvenating. We invite you to join us for a Big Island exploration.
This is open to all HaSTA members and their friends. The tentative agenda for this event is as follows:
ONE DAY: September 30, 2017 (Sat)
9 am Tour of Hilo Experimental Farm with Dr. William Sakai
10 am Imiloa Astronomy Center with planetarium visit and tour designed for teachers
12 noon Lunch at the Imiloa Center
2 pm Volcano National Park
5 pm Dinner at Hilo Restaurant with professional collaborations and networking
9 pm Last flight to Oahu from Hilo Airport
TWO-DAY: September 30 (Sat) - October 01, 2017 (Sun)
One Day Itinerary plus:
Morning Visit to the Maunakea Observatories
Early afternoon flight to Oahu from Hilo Airport
COST: Please make your payment here.
One Day - $75 Covers ground transportation, Imiloa admission and Volcano National Park admission. It does not include meals, hotel, and airfare.
Two Day - $475 Covers ground transportation, admission to both Imiloa Center and Volcano National Park, overnight stay at a Hilo hotel, and air travel. It does not include meals.
All participants should be HaSTA members. If you'd like to bring friends/guests, please ask them to apply for membership.
