The Hawaiʻi Indigenous Mapping Project and Place-based Education (virtual)

Register: bit.ly/2P3bvtZ

Join us for a virtual workshop on place-based curriculum design with the Hawaiʻi Indigenous Mapping Project and FieldScope. Are you a teacher collecting place-based information via kilo activities or moʻolelo? Are your students engaged with environmental measurement and observation? The Hawaiʻi Indigenous Mapping Project connects citizen science to place-based and culture-based education using FieldScope, a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) interface for gathering, sharing and visualizing multimedia data using just a browser.

Please contact Yvonne Chan (ychan@iolani.org) for more info.
