Location
Palehua-Palikea

Registration is closed
Hi Teachers,
The Environmental Committee is leading a hike on the Palehua-Palikea Trail on Aug. 31, 2013, to see the Hawaiian tree snails, Achatinella sp. The Hawaiians called them pupu kani oe.
The size of the group is limited, and I must confirm to the ranger that the group will definitely do the hike by Aug 15, 2013. If you want to go on this hike please reply to me as soon as possible. The hike is limited to HaSTA members. Non-members may apply for membership on the day of the hike.
The hike is a moderate one about 2 miles long (out and back). It follows the crest of the Waianae mountains from Palehua to Palikea with beautiful vistas of Oahu's central plain and Nanakuli Valley.
