"INVENTIVE ENGINEER POSTER CONTEST"!
Start
15 Feb 2014
End
17 Feb 2014
Location
Pearlridge Shopping Center
This contest is part of the celebration of National Engineers Week which starts 16 February. This year's theme is "Bringing Dreams to Life".
Application instructions, rules, and helpful tutorial information are at: www.HawaiiCyberSpace/EngineersWeek.
The Hawai'i Council of Engineering Societies invites Middle and High School students to submit their poster by February 8. The poster will be judged on effective use of drawing skills, well-defined engineer terms and standard units of measure in an appealing creative format. The poster is to communicate a Student’s own or an existing invention, mechanism, or engineered design. Students are encouraged to use internet and software tools and grow ideas for their poster in free communication with other students and with teachers and parents.
The Contest is designed to be uncomplicated to enter. Posters will be on display at Pearlridge Shopping Center from February 15-17, with selected outstanding ones placed at additional venues later! For Specific comments and bonus cash prizes for early submissions: email MENTOR@alum.MIT.edu
